Vain little pig

Once upon a time, there was a vain little pig named Pippo who lived in the countryside of Lombardy. Pippo always dreamed of seeing the world outside his pen, so one day he decided to escape and explore the city. Without a clear plan, Pippo soon found himself on the busy streets of Milan.

The little pig, wearing an old red scarf, walked with his head held high and his snout up, admiring the architecture of the buildings and the beauty of the shop windows. But his beauty and vanity attracted the attention of many passersby who looked at him perplexed as he walked through the streets.

Pippo was very proud of his looks and couldn’t help but stop every time he saw his reflection in the shop windows. He stopped to look at himself, to smooth his fur and to adjust his scarf, as if he wanted to make sure he looked his best.

But his vanity led to a nasty accident. One day, while he was admiring himself in the mirror, a car hit him. Fortunately, Pippo survived the accident, but he had to deal with the consequences of his vanity.

After the accident, Pippo realized that he shouldn’t only care about his appearance but also his safety. He decided to go back to his country life, where he could be himself and not worry about his image.

In conclusion, Pippo’s story teaches us that vanity can lead to bad consequences and that it’s important to find a balance between our appearance and personal safety.
